Tombow really shook up the arts and crafts market by issuing this ten-pack of great calligraphy pens. Although we were a little bit sceptical about the lack of a refilling option, all the pros simply outweighed this tiny downside to a great addition to your art kit.
Equipped with both a flexible brush tip and a fine tip, there is no part of the project that these dual brushed calligraphy pens can’t take care of. The special non-acidic colours within the pens allowed them to perform very well on all parts of our test, mostly on contours and delicate shadowing. Their precision truly is unique and shouldn’t vane as you continue to use them.
What the dual brush pens lack in performance during large scale projects, they certainly suffice with a great versatility. The well-receiving colour makes them great for all sorts of other art endeavours, especially illustration, journaling and comic book design. Adding the blender pen to an already complete kit was a smart move by Tombow calligraphy pens. We highly recommend you try them out.
